Natural remedies can help expedite the healing process of Canker Sore.

Mouthwashes:
Using mouthwashes can provide relief and promote healing. Try these simple recipes:

  • Aspirin Mouthwash: Dissolve an aspirin tablet in a cup of lukewarm water and rinse your mouth normally.
  • Sea Salt Mouthwash: Combine 1 teaspoon of salt (coarse or fine) with lukewarm water, gargle for a few seconds, and then spit it out.
  • Clay Mouthwash: Mix 1 teaspoon of green clay in a glass of lukewarm water and use it as a mouthwash once a day.

Lemon:

Black Tea:
After enjoying a cup of black tea, apply the damp tea bag directly to the canker sore for a few minutes. Black tea’s tannins help alleviate pain and naturally treat canker sores.

Sage Leaves:
Known as a traditional remedy, drink sage infusions several times a day or use sage leaves to make mouthwashes.

Basil:
Chew raw basil leaves for their antiseptic properties, which can aid in the healing process.
